Degree, retraining, a book
An education degree or retraining plus practicum. You need subject and method. Development is periodic. Language teachers benefit from near-C1; not every school requires IELTS.
State schools usually want the diploma. Centers can be softer — check the license. Portfolio: a lesson plan, student work (with permission), a short video. Slide quizzes are a tool, not a lesson replacement.
