When can first-year students apply for dormitory accommodation?
Curated and fact-checked based on official notices from the Ministry of Higher Education and university press offices.
First-year students can apply for dormitory accommodation only after they have been recommended for admission. Applications can be submitted through the portal my.gov.uz or electronically via the State Services Center.
There is no need to submit a paper application to the university. If a student receives a message stating "User data not available in the database" while attempting to apply, it does not mean that they cannot apply for dormitory accommodation.
Their data may not yet have been uploaded into the system. In this case, it is advisable to wait some time and try again.
Applications for dormitory accommodation will continue to be accepted until the end of the academic year. Once a student's application is successfully submitted through the electronic system, they will be included in a preferential or priority list, or in the general queue.
If there are available places in the dormitory, an electronic referral will be generated for the student. If there are no available places, the applicant will be placed in a queue.
Priority for accommodation in dormitories is given to the following categories of students: orphans and students deprived of parental care, as well as children from orphanages; categories listed in the social register, "Iron list", "Women's list", and "Youth list."
