Teachers and administrative staff of general education institutions will receive awards of up to 1 million 20 thousand sums in connection with "October 1 — Teacher and Mentor Day." ## Determination of the Award Amount The amount of the award is established in paragraph 29 of the regulation approved by the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution dated September 30, 2019, No. 823, which states that employees of general education institutions, including administrative staff, may be awarded up to 50 percent of the minimum wage from the available funds of the Fund in connection with October 1.

With the amendment made by the President's decree in March 2025, the amount of the award for teachers and administrative staff has been increased to 75 percent of the minimum wage. ## Calculation Procedure - When calculating the award amount, the teacher's monthly salary is not taken into account, but rather the minimum wage; - Currently, the minimum wage is 1 million 360 thousand sums per month; - Based on this, the maximum amount of the award is 1 million 20 thousand sums.
