In Uzbekistan, students in the 10th grade of general education schools will be able to transfer their studies to technical colleges. A unified state service for the transfer and reinstatement of students in vocational education organizations will also be introduced.

The new procedure is established by the administrative regulation approved by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 450. How will the transition from 10th grade to technical college take place?

According to the decision, a special procedure for the transfer of 10th-grade students from general educational organizations to technical colleges will be implemented. This will allow students to choose a vocational education path instead of continuing general education and to pursue studies in a specific profession or specialty.

Where should the application be submitted? To utilize the state service, applications can be submitted through state service centers or electronically via the unified interactive state services portal.

In collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the establishment of the capability to fully provide these services through YAIDXP within two months has been planned. A unified procedure will also be established for transfers and reinstatements in vocational education.

Resolution No. 450 not only facilitates the transfer of 10th-grade students to technical colleges but also introduces a unified mechanism for: transferring from one educational organization to another; reinstating studies; and providing conclusions regarding these processes. The new order aims to expand opportunities for students to transition from general education to vocational education and to more quickly acquire a profession or specialty that aligns with their interests.
