On Tuesday, the Armenian Prosecutor General's Office announced that among those accused in the case of Robert Kocharyan are former President Serj Sargsyan, the late former Prime Minister Andranik Markaryan, former Yerevan Mayor Gagik Beglaryan, and six others. "In the framework of the criminal case initiated against the second president Robert Kocharyan by the Anti-Corruption Committee, former President Serj Sargsyan has also been charged under part 2 of Article 308 of the Criminal Code adopted on April 18, 2003 (which corresponds to part 2 of Article 441 of the current Criminal Code - abuse of power or exceeding authority by a public official)," the publication's website stated.
