Can an applicant choose a direction if their score is sufficient for several?

An applicant can indicate up to five higher education institutions and bachelor’s programs during the selection process after the test. However, after the final mandate is released, even if the score allows admission to several fields, the opportunity to choose again is not provided.

An applicant is recommended for only one field of study. Which field is chosen depends on the priorities that they indicated beforehand and the order of the fields.

According to current regulations, the selection is based on the priorities set by the applicant and the order of bachelor’s programs. The statement "I got into five fields" is not entirely correct.

For example, the applicant's score may exceed the passing score for a government grant in each of the five chosen fields. However, this does not mean they were admitted to five fields simultaneously.

The system recommends the applicant only one field according to the selection rules. During the selection process, the applicant can indicate up to five higher education institutions and fields, and also choose a priority between "Government Grant" or "Educational Direction".

If the priority is chosen as "Government Grant", the selected fields will be examined first under the grant. For example, if the applicant chose the following five fields and their score qualifies for grants in all: Economics; Finance; Banking; Management; Marketing.

In this case, after the mandate is released, the applicant cannot say, "I prefer the third field more, I will switch to it" and change their choice. The system forms the final result based on the predetermined sequence and priorities.

If the priority is the "Government Grant", all chosen fields will be considered first under the grant, and then under the contract. If the priority is the "Educational Direction", the system will first examine the first chosen field: first grant, then contract.

If the applicant is recommended for the first field, subsequent choices will not be considered.
