Additional Payment for Checking Notebooks is Only Paid for Certain Subjects

Among the main tasks performed by teachers are conducting lessons, working with students, and filling out journals, as well as checking each student's notebook in the class. However, the assessment of students' written work is not mandatory for all subjects — additional payment for checking notebooks is only provided for certain subjects. ## Primary Classes - Alphabet; - Native Language; - Uzbek Language; - Russian Language; - Mathematics; - In grades 2–4, foreign language (English, German, French, and other languages). ## Upper Classes - Literature; - Russian Language and Literature; - Foreign Language (English, German, French, and other languages); - Algebra and Geometry. ## Payment Amount The additional payment for checking notebooks is calculated as a percentage of the minimum wage (1,360,000 sums): when there are up to 15 students in the class — 8.8% (119,680 sums), and when there are 15 or more students — 17.6% (239,360 sums).

The payment also applies to subjects taught in two groups. The allowance is calculated in addition to the teacher's basic monthly salary, paid monthly, and increases proportionally with the rise in the minimum wage.
