Students with Low Grades Will Be Deprived of Scholarships
All students will receive the same scholarship amount, but active and high-achieving students will be eligible for additional incentives.

From now on, all students will receive the same scholarship amount. However, for those who excel academically and actively participate in scientific and community activities, rectors of higher educational institutions will introduce a system of additional incentives amounting to up to 50% of the scholarship (up to 200,000 sums).

The decision on who will receive this additional scholarship will be made by the rectors, writes lawyer Khushnudbek Khudoyberdiyev. Students enrolled in state grants who receive more than 30% of their grades as 'C' at the end of the semester will lose their right to receive a scholarship in the next semester.

For students receiving presidential and merit scholarships, the scholarship amount will remain unchanged.
