The Tashkent branch of the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (MMFI) will launch a master's program in 'Nuclear Physics and Technologies' starting from the 2026/2027 academic year. Applicants will undergo interviews for admission.

TASHKENT, July 1 — The Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (MMFI) will open a master's program in 'Nuclear Physics and Technologies' at its Tashkent branch starting from the 2026/2027 academic year. According to the admission office of the Tashkent branch, applicants will need to pass an interview in their specialty for admission to the master's program.

The interviews are scheduled to take place from July 7 to July 14, 2026. On the MMFI admission commission's website, the 'Nuclear Physics and Technologies' program is listed among the master's programs for 2026.

Currently, the Tashkent branch of MMFI is training specialists at the undergraduate level in the fields of 'Nuclear Energy and Thermophysics', 'Nuclear Physics and Technologies', 'Thermal Energy and Thermal Engineering', and 'Electrical Engineering and Electrical Technology'. In Uzbekistan, a leading engineering school in atomic energy has been established in collaboration with Rosatom.
