Teacher in Namangan District Physically Assaults 1st Grade Student

In Namangan region, at the 39th general secondary school in the Kosonsoy district, it was revealed that a primary school teacher physically assaulted a 1-'B' grade student on September 16. This incident occurred because the student was unable to read a book.

A video that circulated on social media showed the teacher also yelling at other students. In response, the information service of the regional education department announced that a working group had been formed to investigate the situation.

A service inspection is being conducted at the school, and the actions of the responsible individuals are under legal review. Based on the findings of the investigation, appropriate measures will be taken against the school administration and the teacher in accordance with established legislation.

In cases where teachers resort to violence against children, such as the incident involving physical force against a student in a school in Sirdarya, they may be prohibited from teaching for up to one year.
