Students with Disabilities Will Receive 50% Additional Time in Exams

Beginning in the 2027/2028 academic year, students with disabilities will have the opportunity to receive 50% additional time on entrance exams for higher education institutions. This new regulation was established by the Presidential decree No.

PQ–292 dated August 4, 2026. The document came into effect on August 5.

The regulation will also be applied in the following tests involving individuals with disabilities: certification of pedagogical staff with disabilities; assessments of knowledge in general education subjects; national certification exams in general education subjects.

Therefore, an additional 50% of time will be allocated in entrance, certification, and national certification exams relative to the main time.
