In the 6th round of the 46th World Chess Olympiad taking place in Samarkand, the Uzbekistan men's chess team defeated India with a score of 2.5:1.5, becoming the sole leader of the tournament with 12 points. The match took place on September 21; over the course of 6 rounds, Uzbekistan has won 6 times.

The pairings for the matches were announced by the Uzbekistan Chess Federation.
