The Number of Foreign Universities in Uzbekistan Has Reached 30

The number of foreign higher education institutions (HEIs) operating in Uzbekistan has reached 30. As reported by the National Statistical Committee, at the start of the 2024/2025 academic year, there are 1,432,810 students enrolled in higher education institutions, including branches.

The total number of higher education institutions in the republic is 222. The distribution of students by forms of education is as follows: full-time - 707,287; part-time - 52,099; distance learning - 673,424.
