In Karakalpakstan, 15-Year Preferential Loans Will Be Provided for Private Kindergartens

In Nukus, under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a meeting was held dedicated to the socio-economic development of Karakalpakstan. Specific tasks were set to increase employment and educational coverage in the region. ## Loan Conditions for Private Kindergartens Entrepreneurs opening private kindergartens in Karakalpakstan will be granted a 15-year loan with a 5-year grace period at an interest rate of 7%.

In other regions, the loan rate varies from 7% to 15% depending on the distance from the center. The meeting noted that the coverage of preschool education has reached 84%, but in the regions of Amudarya, Bozatov, Taxiatosh, Tortkul, Chimboy, Khojayli, and Ellikqala, this indicator remains low. ## Employment Tasks in IT and Logistics Within a year, it is planned to provide high-paying jobs for 1,000 young people in the fields of information technology and logistics, and in the next two years, another 5,000.

In the region, 98,000 young people have foreign language certificates, 127,000 have certificates in information technology, and 5,500 have certificates in exact sciences. More than 10,000 of them have a strong command of foreign languages and information technology. ## Projects Involving Fellow Citizens The initiative of our compatriot in Korea to teach young people in remote areas information technology and prepare them for high-paying jobs has been supported.

By the end of the year, at least 10 talented compatriots will be attracted to Karakalpakstan to start projects. It was also previously reported that the heads of neighborhoods would allocate land for private kindergartens and schools.
