SamDTU Teachers Enhance Qualifications at Saint Petersburg State University

Teachers from Samarkand State Medical University are enhancing their qualifications at the IV Summer School for Russian Language Teachers organized at Saint Petersburg State University. The program features Associate Professor Shahlo Jamaldinova from the Department of Uzbek and Russian Languages and trainee assistant Zamira Khaliqova.

The qualification enhancement program is designed for 144 academic hours. This year, more than 80 teachers from Uzbekistan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, India, Serbia, Germany, Poland, and other countries are participating in the summer school.

A total of representatives from 23 countries are involved. Participants are familiarizing themselves with modern methods of teaching Russian language and literature, digital educational resources, teaching Russian as a foreign language, and methodologies for working with bilingual children.

Additionally, the sessions focus on the use of game technologies, artificial intelligence tools, video materials, podcasts, and intellectual maps in the educational process. The project has been conducted at Saint Petersburg State University since 2023.

It is organized with the support of the "Russkiy Mir" Foundation, Rossotrudnichestvo, and the Committee for External Relations of Saint Petersburg. Participants who successfully pass the final certification will receive qualification enhancement certificates from SPbSU.

Three teachers from Samarkand and Tashkent regions won an international competition in Moscow.
