Application for Super-Contract Accepted. Notes for Prospective Students

The results of the entrance exams for higher education institutions have been published. As of September 26, candidates who were not recommended for admission can apply for studies based on a differentiated payment contract (super-contract).

To apply, candidates must score 56.7 points or higher. Last year, the amount of the super-contract was calculated based on the cost of a contract without a scholarship.

According to the rules of the previous academic year, the amounts of super-contracts were determined in relation to the basic amounts of contracts without scholarships. Applicants could also opt for a scholarship option.

This means that an additional 4.8 million sums (the amount of the annual scholarship) is added to the differential payment contract, allowing the recipients to receive a scholarship every month. Applicants can select a university under the super-contract.

An applicant can choose one of the three universities they applied to. "Candidates not recommended for admission are allowed to pursue studies under a differentiated payment contract in the second or third bachelor's program they selected during the registration period," reported the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education. How is the differentiated contract calculated?

For those who scored less than 4 points in the entrance exams, the super-contract is paid as follows: - for those who scored less than 1 point - 1.5 times; - for those who scored between 1.1 and 2 points - 2.0 times; - for those who scored between 2.1 and 3 points - 2.5 times; - for those who scored between 3.1 and 4 points - 3.0 times.

According to the differentiated payment contract amounts set in the previous academic year, the highest amount is 25 times, corresponding to 229 million 184 thousand sums for the jurisprudence field.

The second most expensive field is medicine - 20 times, or 170 million 649 thousand sums. In other fields, the super-contract is set at 10 and 15 times.

There is an option for installment payments. Last year, it was possible to divide the super-contract into two parts or even by months.

When splitting the amount of the super-contract into months, at least 50% of the amount for the first half of the academic year must be paid by November 1 of the current year, and the second half by March 1 at the latest. In the master's program, additional admissions are available, but there is no differentiated contract.

In the master's program, similar to the bachelor's program, there is no requirement to pay a differentiated high contract; accepted master's students for additional places pay the regular contract price. What are the expected rules for this academic year?

According to Bahriiddin Shayvaliyev, a representative of the information service of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, the minimum amount for the differentiated payment contract will be established by the decision of the State Commission for Admission to Educational Institutions. Based on this, universities will set their prices for super-contracts.

Main details and important information: Currently, the prices for super-contracts are not known. "Last year, candidates were given the opportunity to study on a super-contract basis at one of the universities they applied to. If this practice continues, this year candidates will also be able to choose one of five universities.

However, the capabilities of the university expressing a desire to teach under a super-contract will also be taken into account. Admission will be conducted with strict adherence to the sequence of collected scores," noted the ministry representative.
