Tashkent: SputnikPRO - Video, Editing, and Neural Networks for Modern Media

On September 17 at 10:00, a lecture will be held at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages as part of the SputnikPRO project on the topic "Filming, Editing, Neural Networks: What Tools Do Modern Media Use?" The speaker will be Alona Rutchina, a producer for Sputnik from neighboring countries.

Rutchina has experience as a director and began her journalism career at "Channel One." She has extensive experience in producing video content for Sputnik, including interviews, short news in TikTok format, and on-site reports.

She has also covered major events involving high-ranking officials in Russia and abroad. These events include the international military-technical forum "Army," the "Army Games," KAZANFORUM 2024, the International Eurasian Women's Forum in Saint Petersburg, and meetings of the Commission on Economic Issues under the Economic Council of the CIS.

At the SputnikPRO meeting, various video formats for different platforms will be discussed, as well as applications that allow for quick content processing and editing. The use of artificial intelligence tools and their potential for saving journalists' time will also be addressed.

A separate block will focus on rapid response at the scene of events. Participants will discuss why it is important to be first, how to prepare exclusive materials from regular news, and methods to become the primary source of information.
